Welcome to the Illinois State Transportation Plan website.  This site provides information on the Department’s update of the current Illinois State Transportation Plan, Connecting Illinois.  The initial update of this plan will be completed by July 2007, with additional refinements to be completed by the end of 2007.

Most information about the plan and the update process will be found on About the Plan.  Get Involved provides contact information, public involvement opportunities and a comment form.  Please comment, as we are interested in your thoughts and ideas.  The Information Center will have newsletters and presentations developed for this process.
